Admission Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing
  • Supportive and prerequisite coursework completed with a C- or better and a minimum 2.75 GPA
  • School of Nursing application through NursingCAS
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended
  • Three professional references
  • Approved background check
  • Proof of English proficiency (if applicable)

Curriculum

Classes start every January, and you’ll complete your BSN over four consecutive semesters. Learn through lectures, labs and clinical placements at Magnet-designated hospitals.

Tuition​

USF charges nursing tuition by the credit hour, plus a nursing-specific course fee.

  • 57–60 credits total (dependent on courses)
  • $475 per credit hour for 26-27
  • $100 additional fee per nursing course credit

Financial Aid

Accelerated nursing students may be eligible for federal aid by submitting the FAFSA. USF also offers students access to private alternative loans and an interest-free payment plan.


Local health care providers may offer students sponsorship opportunities up to $25,000. Request info to learn more.
